The Gruffalo is based on the much-loved picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, bbrought to life on stage by Tall Stories with catchy songs, laughs and magical storytelling!

The story celebrates the idea that even the smallest creature can outwit the biggest beast. It demonstrates that things aren’t always what they seem, encouraging children to use their imagination and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges. Watching The Gruffalo is a fun and exciting way to experience theatre for the first time against the backdrop of a familiar and beloved story.

Room on the Broom – touring the UK from 27 Oct 2026 to 10 April 2027

Room on the Broom is based on the beloved picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, but brought to life on stage by Tall Stories with puppetry, songs, and plenty of laughs!

It explores themes of friendship: encouraging children to embrace kindness, teamwork and inclusivity. It celebrates the idea that there is always room for one more friend, and that if we all work together we can solve any problem. Watching Room on the Broom is also a fun and exciting way to experience theatre for the first time against the backdrop of a familiar and much-loved story.
