You are invited to a special free preview performance of The Elmer Adventure at Tall Stories Studio!

Join three friends on a joyful jungle adventure in Tall Stories’ magical, musical adaptation of the much-loved Elmer books by David McKee.

Everyone loves the stories about Elmer the patchwork elephant – whether he’s pretending to be an ordinary grey elephant or playing a practical joke. But has anyone ever actually seen him? Can you help find him? Is that a patchwork trunk hidden among the trees and bushes of the jungle?

Tall Stories brings the enchanting and colourful world of Elmer to life through songs, storytelling and puppetry – for everyone aged 3 and up.

Please aim to arrive around 15 mins before the start time. When you arrive, you will be waiting in the large corridor just outside the entrance to our studio, until the performers  are ready. See if you can spot our wooden Gruffalo in the library corridor whilst you are waiting!

You will be able to enter just before the show is due to begin. Please let us know if this is an issue.

This will be one of the first performances of The Elmer Adventure to an audience and we’re excited to start this show’s exciting journey with you! As this is a preview in our rehearsal space, please be patient with us if we have any technical difficulties, and please be aware the show won’t be running usual lighting and sound that you might see in a full sized theatre.

We will be running a short 15 minute Q&A/feedback section after the performance for you to ask questions to the company if you wish.
