Schools shows with accompanying show-based workshops
Our current touring show will always have an accompanying theme-based workshop. Alongside ‘How the Giraffe got its Neck’ were two workshops, one for 5-7 year olds and one for 7 year olds and up. These workshops look at creating Just So Stories and examine ideas behind Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.
Performances and workshops of ‘How the Giraffe got its Neck’ were available at a hugely discounted rate in 2008-09. A free activity pack was provided for every child who attended a Giraffe Workshop. These subsidised performances and activity packs were made possible thanks to John Lyon’s Charity.
We are hoping to provide similar workshops and packs alongside our new show ‘Twinkle Twonkle’.
